Please join us in prayer

James tells us that true religion includes keeping oneself unstained by the world. So, that means Christians must resist the cultural pressures of the unbelieving world around us, right? But when Paul encountered pagan Greeks in Athens, he applauded their religious culture and suggested their altar "to an unknown god" was an expression of worship of the God of Abraham and Isaac, the God who Jesus called Abba - now revealed to them through Paul's preaching.

So, do we resist non-Christian culture or look for Jesus in it? It's got to be one or the other, black or white - right? Join us for worship Sunday as we continue reflecting on how to be Instruments of Peace, as St. Francis taught us to pray.

Worship with us online at 10:30 or in-person at 8:30 and 10:30!!
