Why does our culture work so hard to avoid suffering? We numb pain, hide our wounds, and look to faith to smooth out every wrinkle? As people of the Resurrection, we know a different story. This Sunday we'll explore more of Peter's first letter and ask what it means that Christ didn’t avoid suffering but entered it and how that can reshape the way we see our own pain.
